Since 1988, Bauer Karate Academy has been the top martial arts studio in the Le Roy, NY area for karate, self-defense, and character building. First and foremost, we are developers of life skills.

Karate is the paramount activity from my life that has helped me to become a better human being. Dan Bauer taught me the importance of respecting others, being humble, exercising self control and how to defend myself and those that I love. Now, 20 years later he is teaching my children the same core values that he instilled in me. We are lucky to have this dojo and it's beneficiaries in our community. Leroy is a stronger place because of this.
